Who is Lujo?

Who’s Lujo? I’ve actually played a little game with my readers (just a really little one, actually) where the full identity of Lujo doesn’t become obvious until late in the game. Craig figured it out … maybe you’ll be able to, also. Lujo has played a significant role throughout the Series, in a sense, tying the various main characters together.

I found him such a fascinating character in the other books, that I wanted to know more about him and follow more of his career. It was already evident to me that Lujo and Sean were close, even back in The Acolyte. He’s the kind of guy anyone would want for their mentor — wise almost to a fault, a political master, yet ultimately, completely ethical. Whether his love and support is enough to see Sean through the crisis of his life is anybody’s guess.

Lujo is a shadow in the background of both The Priest and The Acolyte and I look forward to your encountering him in the full daylight of The Bishop.
